In 1969 a group of parents of Cystic Fibrosis patients founded the NCFS.
This parents en patients organization is concerned with:
-offering contact with fellow parents en patients and their environment
- gathering and providing information about CF to patients, parents en experts
-fighting for sufficient facilities and adequate treatment of CF
-keeping in touch with doctors and paramedics specialized in CF
