| MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRMAN |
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I am honored to welcome you all to the
“1st CYSTIC FIBROSIS WORLDWIDE MIDDLE EAST CONFERENCE” which will be held for the first time in Saudi Arabia on 5-7 December 2011 (10-12 Muharram 1433) in the Postgraduate Center of King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The scientific program has been carefully designed to include topics of special interest to all medical health providers for cystic fibrosis by outstanding authorities in the scientific sessions. Our aim is to raise the awareness of our healthcare providers regarding this common but fatal disease, which is commonly missed and overlooked by many physicians.
The scientific program also included 4 workshops that are aimed to fulfill the needs of different specialties related to CF (Physicians, Geneticists, Scientists, Researchers, Respiratory therapists, Nurses and Nutritionists).
The program will also include live transmission of CF achievers from all over the world to tell their success of fighting this disease and be productive and achievers in their field and will be also transmitted to many countries in the Middle East and Africa.
I would like to express my sincere appreciation to all our participants, our local and international speakers, as well as to our sponsors who have actively contributed to the success of this important endeavor.
