Cystic Fibrosis Worldwide in cooperation with "CF South Asian Trust," hosted an educational workshop for parents, patients and medical professionals at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi. The workshop was attended by 32 families, 8 doctors, 1 physiotherapist and 1 nutritionist from the AIIMS CF specialized medical team. Dr. Harry Heijerman presented information about CF and the current research and latest developments. Louise Lannefors discussed the need and different techniques of Physiotherapy in the care of CF patients. Dr. Heijerman examined each patient present and discussed each case with the attending CF team at AIIMS. Louise Lannefors taught physiotherapy to patients, handed out pep devices and explained the use of nebulisers in daily treatment. Daily Care posters
for individuals, developed in partnership with the Slovakian CF Association, nutritional handbooks and other information was also provided for families.
